JMPL has launched 8 new programs to better serve our reader community and citizens in general.

1.The newly established general information desk offers consulting, pre-reading, enquiry, and loaning services. Readers will be warmly greeted, and experience expedited services in registering library cards and returning books.

2.All books in the reader service section are loanable, and can be reserved in person, by phone, or online.

3.Interlibrary loan provides extended online resources from Bohai University, etc.

4.Family card allows readers who live far from the library to borrow more than one book at a time.

5.The library offers loaning, resource searching, translation, copying and book delivery services for senior citizens and readers with walking disabilities.

6.Accessible paths and facilities are provided for readers with special needs.

7.Resource searching equipment is available for readers to download online resources, search information through multimedia, and receive computer training.

8.The reader service section is established to provide differentiated services based on readers’ needs.
